Archer Western-led consortium selected for $685.6 million rebuild of I-285/I-20 Interchange in Atlanta

Atlanta, GA - East Interchange Builders, a consortium led by Archer Western Construction with E.R. Snell Contractor, Inc., has been selected by the Georgia Department of Transportation to design and construct the I-285/I-20 interchange east of Atlanta.The $685.6 million project will result in new interchange ramps, added lanes on both highways and replaces multiple bridges. The interchange improvements will ease traffic congestion through the area and decrease overall travel times for an area that's been called "one of the worst bottlenecks in the country."
